Voltex was born in 2021 from a fundamental frustration: West African industry was investing in complex automation systems, yet there was no local expertise to install, maintain, or teach them. Equipment sat idle. Money was wasted. Opportunity was squandered.
Our founders — two electrical engineers who had worked across mining and marine industry — saw this as the greatest untapped opportunity on the continent. Armed with deep technical knowledge, a single PLC trainer kit, and an unwavering belief in home-grown talent, they launched Voltex from a rented workshop in Accra's industrial district.
"We didn't just want to fix machines.
We wanted to build the people who would fix them."
The early years were defined by hard-won credibility. Contract by contract, training cohort by training cohort, Voltex built a reputation that spread from mining to manufacturing operations. Word travelled fast: if you wanted automation done right in Ghana, you called Voltex.
Today, Voltex operates across three integrated pillars — Consultation, Technical Support, and Professional Training — with the aim of training the next engineers and transforming industry across the continent and beyond.

"The PLC Programming course at Voltex completely transformed my career. Within two months of graduating, I landed a senior automation role at a Fortune 500 manufacturer. The hands-on labs are unlike anything else available."
"Voltex's consultation team helped us reduce our energy costs by 38% in the first year. Their approach is genuinely strategic — they understood our business before touching a single piece of equipment."
"Their 24/7 technical support is the real deal. When our SCADA system went down at 2am, a Voltex engineer was online within 15 minutes and had us back up before the morning shift. Absolutely invaluable."
