AUTOMATION
CONSULTATION
We don't sell automation products. We solve automation problems — which means our consulting engagements start with a rigorous understanding of your process, your constraints, and your real objectives.
Most automation failures aren't technical — they're strategic. Choosing the wrong platform, underestimating integration complexity, or skipping a proper hazard analysis creates problems that no amount of engineering talent can fix after the fact. Our consulting practice exists to prevent exactly that.
Every engagement begins with a site assessment and process review. We map your existing systems, identify the automation opportunities with the highest impact-to-cost ratio, and develop a phased roadmap that lets you move forward without disrupting current operations.
TECHNICAL
SUPPORT
When a system goes down at 2am in a remote mine, you need an engineer who picks up the phone, diagnoses the fault over a live SCADA connection, and tells you exactly what to do — not a helpdesk ticket number.
Our technical support service is staffed by automation engineers, not generalist technicians. Every person on our support desk holds active Siemens or Rockwell certifications and has hands-on deployment experience in the sectors they support.
For clients on retainer, we provide dedicated engineering contacts — people who know your system, your site, and your maintenance history. When something goes wrong, there's no handover, no briefing, and no delay.
PROFESSIONAL
TRAINING
Every engineer we train is taught by someone who has commissioned a real system in a real plant. Our curriculum is the distilled experience of 18 years of fieldwork — not textbook theory.
The Voltex training graduates over 400 engineers per year across six certification programmes. Our facilities in Accra are equipped with live PLC rigs, SCADA workstations, and a dedicated safety systems lab — because proficiency under pressure can only be developed with real hardware.
For corporate clients, we design bespoke programmes around your exact equipment, your specific processes, and the competency gaps your operations team has identified. These can be delivered at your facility, at the Training, or delivered remotely for distributed teams.
HOW EVERY
ENGAGEMENT
RUNS
Five phases. Zero surprises. From the first discovery call to post-commissioning handover, every Voltex engagement follows the same structured process — because industrial automation leaves no room for improvisation.
ASSESS & SCOPE
Site visit or remote process review. We map your current state, identify the gaps, and define a clear project scope with measurable objectives before any cost is committed.
DESIGN & SPECIFY
System architecture, cause & effect matrices, I/O lists, P&IDs, and full functional specification. All deliverables are client-owned and platform-independent.
DEVELOP & TEST
Panel build, PLC/SCADA programming, and Factory Acceptance Testing in our Accra workshop — before a single cable is connected on site.
COMMISSION & INTEGRATE
Site installation, cabling verification, Site Acceptance Testing, and live integration with existing plant systems — following a documented commissioning schedule.
SUPPORT & OPTIMISE
Post-commissioning handover, staff training, and ongoing support retainer. Most clients move to our managed support programme after project completion.
THE TECH
BEHIND THE
WORK
We're vendor-neutral by principle — our technology recommendations are driven entirely by what's optimal for your application, not by reseller margins. Here's the stack we work with every day.
